After the ruckus in the DCP City office in Agra on Wednesday, a case was registered in New Agra on Thursday on the complaint of both the parties. 9 people including the policeman husband and father are named. The husband and brother-in-law are accused of rape and dowry harassment while the woman along with her policeman father and brothers are accused of attempted murder.
A girl resident of Ghutra village of Bebar, Mainpuri, created a ruckus in the DCP City office located in the Collectorate on Wednesday. She accused her brother-in-law of rape and her husband of assault. On the complaint of the girl, a case has been registered against her husband, brother-in-law and 2 unknown persons. The girl was married to Nitin, a resident of Nagla Naya, Mainpuri Ocho, on 1 May 2023. Nitin is posted in the police. It is alleged that 10 days after the marriage, the husband started beating her. After 20 days, he left her outside the house. On June 18, the husband called her to meet him in the room. Where the brother-in-law raped her.
A case has been registered by the husband that on June 18 at around 8 pm at Kaushalpur turn, his wife and her father Dharmendra Singh etc. attacked him with sharp weapons. Due to which he got serious injuries on his face and different parts of the body. A case has been registered against the girl and her father Dharmendra Singh, brother Kuldeep, Amit, mother Anita and an unknown person. ACP Syed Areeb Ahmed said that a case has been registered on the complaint of both the parties and the matter is being investigated.
